Freecoaster Lushness

June 2nd, 2008

As you know I love to see technical riding with freecoaster hubs. Bruce Crisman is at the forefront of this style. Check out his web clip from the Federal DVD.

Slipped into a parallel universe?

May 13th, 2008

I flicked on the old interactive TV tonight to look at some of the footage from the radio one gigs this weekend gone. Lo and behold Madonna appears again touting her black Les Paul once more. I thought it was odd when she did that live earth gig last year, but it appears her mid life crisis is continuing. Not that I’ve got anything against ‘Old Madge’, but I’m just not used to seeing women of her age humping their guitars up against a row of amps. It’s just not right!

Anyway, here’s a track for your viewing delectation, just try not to freak out quite as much as I was, Mrs Jimbo was getting quite annoyed with my mutterings!

X files movie

May 13th, 2008

Well maybe I’ve been living under a rock, which is quite possible as I don’t get to go to the cinema very often these days, but apparently there is a new X-Files movie on the way.

Time to renew my membership of the Gillian Anderson fan club ;-)

Mobile Blogging

May 9th, 2008

OK, so call me a geek, but this is my first blog post using my new bluetooth keyboard and my Nokia N95.

I’ve got a few niggles to iron out as I haven’t figured out how to post photos just yet, but that will happen soon.

I’ve got some great Nokia apps to post info on……..

Oh yes, even overweight draughtsmen get off of the ground occasionally ;-)

Headless rider

My good buddy Slim managed to piledrive himself into a corner and give us all a damn good laugh with his rubber necked antics. (No Slim’s were harmed in the making of this photo).

CCleaner - Crap cleaner!!

May 5th, 2008

It’s been a while since I’ve actually posted anything of any use to people on here, so I’ve started going back over the starred items in my RSS feeds to check out some of the stuff I thought I’d go back to.

I try to run Spybot and Adaware on a regular basis to ensure there aren’t too many nasties lurking on my PC, but I thought I would check out CCleaner, or crap cleaner, as it’s actually short for that!

I installed it and ran it and it chundered away for quite a while rooting out all my rubbish, and much to my amazement it actually removed almost 8GB of rubbish from my computer!! Amazing stuff.

2D Barcode

April 10th, 2008

barcode large, originally uploaded by www.sussex-mtb.com.

I’ve read about these 2D barcodes with embedded information and as I got a new Nokia N95 this week that actually had the scanner software on it I thought I’d give it a try. You can use an online service such as this to create it. Then just point your phone at it with the scanner open and Bob’s you uncle! Amazing!

Mike Spinner

April 10th, 2008

Here we have the aptly named Mike Spinner at work in Dave Mirra’s warehouse. It took me a while to figure out exactly what is going on. The first one is a triple whip, but the second one is a double whip 720, he lands it so cleanly too. These boyz just seem to be trotting out madder and madder tricks at the moment!

Cavalera Conspiracy

April 10th, 2008

Here’s one for those of you who like a bit of the Cavalera Conspiracy, frankly it’s a bit of a disturbing video! Good tune though……..
